So why not continue with what I am currently reading? I am actually already at the seventh compilation book, but here is a quick summary of Hidden and Rescued. Hidden covers books 9-12: The Search, On the Run, Into the Storm, and Earthquake!. Rescued covers books 13-16: The Showdown, Judgment Day, Battling the Commander, and Fire from Heaven.

Hidden: Death struck in book 8, and now the kids are having to deal with the death of a close friend. And in the midst of their grief, troubles arise. Dealing with detention centers, the trials of delivering an underground newspaper, and the disappearance of a close friend, the kids work hard to stay together and stay alive. Ryan suddenly disappears after WWIII begins, and the kids frantically search for him. In the process, Darrion, joins the group, along with Chaya and Shelly. Once they feel like they are safe, some men come to town to take Lionel down south. They claim to be his family, but what are their real intentions? With the kids separated across the country, the worldwide earthquake that Scripture predicted comes, and all of them fight to survive.
..
Rescued: In the aftermath of the earthquake, one Young Trib Force member fights for their life, and death strikes twice due to the earthquake. But the rest of the Young Trib Force are still separated across the country. With the new Morale Monitor program, the kids are brought back together with a new threat, Commander Blancka. After their struggles with the Morale Monitors, the kids are forced to assume new identities with a new friend, Z. And in the process, they find a new place to hide. But just when life seems to be coming together, more judgments fall, their hideout is jeopardized, and divisions rise in the group. Will they once again find themselves separated from one another? And will they truly be in a safe place away from the GC?
..
These two books give the kids new challenges. And each time they find they find that they only way to overcome life's challenges is through working together. Teamwork is definitely a theme of these two books. The kids are bold. They spread God's word unashamedly. But that sends more trials their way. They become determined to speak the truth, despite the cost. And with the help of new friends, they begin reaching more people. But more judgments are on the way, and to survive until the Glorious Appearing will require perseverance through the judgments and trials.
